Michael Velasco
President/Principal
Michael Velasco is the Founder and Principal of Veritas Investment Lending, bringing over 26 years of experience in the real estate and investment space. Throughout his career, he has cultivated strong relationships with investors, family offices, and industry professionals, allowing him to provide strategic financing solutions and valuable market insight to clients and partners alike.
In addition to founding a Scottsdale-based accounting firm, Michael’s experience spans property management, rehabilitation projects, fix-and-flips, contract for deed and alternative financing, as well as extensive work with short sales and REO properties for major institutions including Fannie Mae, Countrywide, Bank of America, and Chase. His broad industry expertise gives him a unique understanding of both the financial and operational sides of real estate investing.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Colorado Christian University. Based in Old Town Scottsdale, he enjoys playing guitar, working out, and volunteering with Spirit Church.

Tyler Jones
Director, Business Development
Brings diverse experience across residential lending, financial technology, and private capital origination.
He began as a loan officer at Nationstar Mortgage (now Rocket Mortgage), where he was a top producer in the U.S. Southwest region.
He then moved into private lending, helping build proprietary lending technology infrastructure, such as automated lender–borrower matching tools.
Since April 2025, he has served as Director of Business Development at Veritas Investment Lending, leading capital partnerships, lender network expansion, and structuring strategy across bridge, construction, and investment property financing.
He loves animals, planting a garden, playing piano, and spending quality time with his family.
